Degree Program: Master of Science

I first got interested in geology by working as a cave tour guide.  Through teaching Earth science to the visitors, I couldn’t get enough. 

The cave is also a seismic station, and it always interested me so much that we were able to record events happening all around the world.  Through independent studies at the University of Tennessee, my tastes developed more, and I found my niche in reflection seismology.
